My 3rd scrap quilt for 2009, and I still have lot over fabric!!! This is a simple 9 patch, made with 4 1/2 inch blocks. I found the book Simply Charming from Moose on the Porch Quilts while on a field trip with Lynn, the pattern calls for using the Charm Packs, but since I had already cut the scrap fabric into 4 1/2 inch squares, I use them instead. It is "Simply Charming Nine Patch". I gave this quilt to my sister Cheryl as her birthday present. For the backing I use flannel fabric with Bloyd's Bears hidden in yellow and orange flowers. Cheryl loves bears, and has a collection of Bloyd's Bears.
